It’s the middle of February… Man, time is really flying by. I wanted to take this time to let y’all know that I was chosen as Texas Women Bloggers‘ Blogger of the Month for February! I am so honored, as I haven’t been a part of the network for very long.
I’ve decided to begin new little series on this blog, where I take you with me around where I live or trips I go on. It’s similar to the vlogs that I’ve done in the past, but this is all with photos.
Two weeks ago, I went with three of my friends (Haley, Alexis, and Morgan) to Saint Jo, Texas. We’ve actually been up there before, but this time I brought along my new camera and spent a lot of time taking photos. It was nice to be able to get away from the city and just hang out with my friends.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to shoot my first Senior photo session with my best friend, Morgan. We went to Discovery Green in Houston and plan to go out again sometime in March or April, when it isn’t so cold, for another session. I really like how some of these turned out. I can’t wait for the next one. 😉
Well, it’s been quite a while, hasn’t it? Last month was extremely stressful. I was going to do Blogmas, but that was a fail after the first week… Then I had hoped to get a couple of posts in before Christmas, but that also failed considering I got the flu and mild bronchitis, on top of my birthday, Christmas gift making/wrapping, and a family Christmas party. And now it’s 2015, time has really flown by.
Hello everyone, welcome back! This blog post will just be a little update of sorts. There’s a lot going on this week and I just wanted to update you on what will be happening/what my plan is for next week.
I know it’s only the 5th day of December, but I am on a role with Blogmas this year. I’m kind of proud of myself. 🙂 Today’s post is about my Birthday/Christmas wishlist. I don’t have much that I want and most of it is related to photography/cameras. The reason why I have combined the lists is because my birthday is December 13th, so only 12 days before Christmas. I also will usually get my birthday gifts on Christmas, so it’s just easier this way. 😉
I’m back again with some photos from my mom’s surprise party last month. The party was a lot of fun and my mom was completely surprised. We had it at my grandmother’s house and we got a lot of my mom’s friends from church to make the long drive down. My mom’s cake was so beautiful. It was half chocolate and half vanilla with a butter cream (I think) frosting.
Wow! Day 2 of Blogmas! I’m on a roll. Haha. I just noticed that I was nominated for a Liebster Award from Miss Emily from Em + the City. I met Emily at the Texas Women Blogger’s Farm-to-Table Dinner event only a few short weeks ago. She was so sweet. I loved getting to talk to her.
Hello people of the interwebs! I have been horribly absent from blogging and I apologize. College has been extremely hectic/stressful. But I am doing BLOGMAS this year. If you don’t know what Blogmas is, it’s where you post something every single day up until Christmas. I’m going to attempt to do this. Not sure how well it will go, but I want to at least be able to say I tried.
I had the opportunity to attend the Texas Women Bloggers Network’s first event on November 15th. It was called the Farm-to-Table dinner and it was a chance for all of us bloggers in Texas to meet up and talk/network with each other. I had a lot of fun and am so glad I went. I was definitely nervous, but turns out it wasn’t so bad. Since I’m new to the network, I haven’t formed the friendships that the other ladies had already formed, but everyone was really welcoming and nice to me.
