I’m back again with some photos from my mom’s surprise party last month. The party was a lot of fun and my mom was completely surprised. We had it at my grandmother’s house and we got a lot of my mom’s friends from church to make the long drive down. My mom’s cake was so beautiful. It was half chocolate and half vanilla with a butter cream (I think) frosting.
For my mom’s last present, she had to follow the clues to find out where it was. A lot of the people at the party all chipped in and got my mom a refrigerator, which we hid in the garage. She had been desperately needing one as hers was from the 1980s and was on the fritz. When she saw the fridge, she was completely shocked. She did cry a little, but I wasn’t too surprised. 🙂
Most of the people at the party made a little drawing/sign to put on the fridge. Just to show how much we all love her.
I think the party was a huge success and I am so happy we were able to pull it off.
