What’s on my Birthday/Christmas Wishlist? | Blogmas 5, 2014

December 5, 2014

I know it’s only the 5th day of December, but I am on a role with Blogmas this year. I’m kind of proud of myself. 🙂 Today’s post is about my Birthday/Christmas wishlist. I don’t have much that I want and most of it is related to photography/cameras. The reason why I have combined the lists is because my birthday is December 13th, so only 12 days before Christmas. I also will usually get my birthday gifts on Christmas, so it’s just easier this way. 😉

** If you click on the photo, it will take you to the website where the product is located. **

**Also, all photos were taken from either Amazon.com or Google.com **

The first thing on my list is the AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR/DSLR Cameras and Accessories from Amazon.com. It is only $29.99 with free 2-day shipping with Amazon Prime. This backpack will hold all of my equipment and make it easy for me to carry around to shows or shoots that I am on. It also has a little extra room for my wallet, keys, etc, so if I shoot a festival, I don’t have to carry a separate bag.

The next item on my list is the Wasabi Power Battery (2-Pack) and Charger. It is also $29.99 with free 2-day shipping (for Amazon Prime). These would be perfect for when I’m traveling and my camera battery dies. There’s not always a plug or an opportunity to stop shooting to charge a battery, so it’s always good to have a spare (or 2) handy.

My next item is another one of those got to have extra items. It’s a SanDisk Extreme 32GB UHS-I/U3 SDHC Memory Card. It is $24.99 on Amazon Prime, a tad expensive, but memory cards in this size/speed usually are. I plan to buy one when I get my new camera, but it’s good to have a few spare. You don’t want to get to a concert or shoot and find out you have no room on your card. That would be terrible. It’s also not always possible to pull out a computer and move photos off your card.

This next item is a little strange for those who don’t take photos outdoors, but I plan to (hopefully) shoot a few music festivals soon. The weather doesn’t always cooperate and stay nice and sunny, so the OP/TECH USA Rainsleeve (2-pack) would be perfect for those days when it starts to rain. It would be terrible if it started raining and your camera/lens got wet. Plus, it’s only $6.50 on Amazon Prime for 2 Rainsleeves.

The next two items are something I’ll probably get myself at some point if I don’t get these for Christmas/birthday. The first item is the AmazonBasics Wireless Remote Control for Canon. It’s only $8.49 on Amazon Prime and would be really good for taking self-portraits and when I shoot YouTube videos. The second item is the Altura Photo (AP-UNV1) Speedlite Flash Kit for Canon. For only $39.99 on Amazon Prime, it comes with Altura Photo Flash, Softbox Flash Diffuser, Universal Remote, MagicFiber Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth.

The last two items for my camera on my wishlist are the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield – Canon EOS 70D (Top LCD Included) Screen Protector Shield Ultra Clear + Lifetime Replacements and the Canon EOS 70D Digital Field Guide in Paperback. The screen protector is on sale for $8.95 on Amazon Prime and the book is $16.63 on Amazon Prime. If you get a used book (which I usually do), prices start at $13.12.

The last two items on my list are beauty products. Although they are a tad expensive, so I don’t expect to get them. They are the Naked 3 Palette and the Naked Basics Palette from Urban Decay. Ulta sells the Naked 3 Palette for $54 and the Naked Basics Palette for $29. I have been wanting the Naked 3 Palette for awhile now. I don’t have any of these colors and I think they would suit my skin tone. The Naked Basics Palette is kind of self-explanatory. I could make a lot of different looks with this palette. I’m more of a neutral eye shadow girl, so the Naked Basics palette would be perfect for me.

And that’s it for my Birthday/Christmas Wishlist! Let me know in the comments what’s on your Christmas list. What do you hope to get most?

Thanks for reading.

xoxo
