blog Travel August 2, 2016 Drive to Colorado

Last Friday, my friends and made the 15 hour drive from Houston to Colorado. We are staying in a ski lodge in Avon for the week. Before getting to our hotel in Avon, we stopped in Denver to eat brunch and explore the area. We ate at Denny’s and then walked around Downtown Denver. I got to take a lot of photos and wanted to share them with y’all. So enjoy! 🙂

blog Travel March 26, 2016 Photo Round Up | Memphis Road Trip

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do, so anytime my friends want to road trip, I’m always up for it. In my last post, I mentioned our road trip to Memphis and reviewed a cute diner called The Arcade Restaurant. In this post, I want to show you some of the photos I took while we walked around the city. I got some really cool shots, and pretty much fell in love with downtown Memphis.

If you know me at all, you know that I frequently go on road trips. Well recently, my friends and I decided to take a road trip to Memphis, Tennessee for the day during Spring Break. Is that nuts? Probably. Did we have fun? YES.

We left Monday night/Tuesday morning around midnight and it took us about ten hours to get there. The first stop was a slightly sketchy truck stop in West Memphis. Turns out West Memphis isn’t even in Tennessee, lol. After changing and freshening up, we drove to the Arcade, which is a really cool diner style restaurant.

blog Travel September 3, 2015 Isle of Skye, Scotland | Throwback Thursday

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a throwback post, but I finally got the photos from our Scotland trip last summer from my dad and wanted to share them with everyone. There were so many good photos taken, but I decided to showcase the photos that had my best friends and I in them, as those are some of my favorites.

blog Travel August 18, 2015 Re-routes, Harry Styles, and NYC?! | Day 3 of Maine Trip

I’m going to start this post off in the wee hours of the morning. From Nashville onto DC, we didn’t get a hotel for the night, so we were just driving straight through.

It was probably around 3am or so, when we decided to reroute and go straight to NYC instead. The only thing we really wanted to do in DC was see the Mall and the White House. Another reason why we rerouted was because I got a notification from some blogs I follow that Harry Styles was in NYC at that very moment. So we decided to head there and hopefully see if we could spot him. By the time we got to NYC, he was already getting on a plane to Brussels, where One Direction is playing a show.

blog Travel August 10, 2015 CMA Music Festival | Day 2 of Maine Trip

Today started off really well. We got a really good nights sleep. The hotel that we stayed at Mufreesboro had really comfortable beds. We wanted to wake up around 8 to get the free breakfast that was offered, but Morgan and I overslept. Haley woke up around 8:50am and rushed to go grab us some, which was really sweet of her.

After eating and getting ready, we checked out of the hotel and were on our way to Nashville. It was only 30 minutes away, so it was a short drive.

Once we got to Nashville, we realized that there was a lot more people than there should’ve been on a weekday. Turns out that we stumbled upon the CMA Music Festival. I don’t know how we missed that in our research, but it was a welcome surprise.

blog Travel June 11, 2015 The Road to Nashville | Day 1 of Maine Trip

It’s been quite a while, huh? Life has been rough the last couple of months. College was winding down and I had a ton of projects and finals to take. Now that it’s summer, I should hopefully have some more time to focus on this blog. I will be traveling quite a lot this summer, so for my first post back, we have a little update from my current road trip. We are heading to Maine for a week and stopping in a few cities to be tourists and see more of the states that we pass through. Let’s get started, shall we?

blog Life Travel January 28, 2015 Follow Me Around | Saint Jo, Texas

I’ve decided to begin new little series on this blog, where I take you with me around where I live or trips I go on. It’s similar to the vlogs that I’ve done in the past, but this is all with photos.

Two weeks ago, I went with three of my friends (Haley, Alexis, and Morgan) to Saint Jo, Texas. We’ve actually been up there before, but this time I brought along my new camera and spent a lot of time taking photos. It was nice to be able to get away from the city and just hang out with my friends.

blog Travel September 2, 2014 UK Trip: Update 6 | July 26-27, 2014

We got up late again, which isn’t a surprise anymore. Haha. Once we got up, my dad asked if we wanted to go shopping, which we said yes too. Once we got ready, we headed to McDonald’s to get a late lunch. After eating, we went to Sports Direct, which is a HUGE athletic wear store. It had a wonderful sale going on and I got quite a few things. As we were leaving the store, we saw an ice cream truck, so we stopped and got some. It was delicious and kind of odd since in the US, you don’t get soft serve ice cream in the trucks.

blog Travel September 1, 2014 UK Trip: Update 5 | July 21-22, 2014

The day began with Morgan being really frustrated and in a bad mood for a variety of reasons. After we got our travelcards, we walked over to a local cafe to get breakfast/lunch that we could eat on the train. I got a ham and cheese panini and some chips (fries). Once we got our food, we began our 2 hour train journey to Warner Bros. Studios.
