Hello everyone! I’m back! I’ve been pretty absent from my blog, but I’ve felt really uninspired lately. I’ve also been traveling quite a bit this summer and just haven’t had time to sit and write anything. I’ve been brainstorming different ideas and I think I finally have found some things that I’m incredibly excited to get started on.

I’ve decided to begin a weekly series, called Happy Fridays, where I write about a quote I really like or 5 good things that have happened to me that week. 

I’ve decided to start off this series with 5 good things that have happened to me this past week. Let’s begin!

1. MY BROTHER GOT MARRIED LAST FRIDAY (August 21, 2015). It was such a beautiful ceremony and I definitely teared up during the vows. My brother also made a vow to his new step-children and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was very emotional and so touching.

2. This next one can be taken as a good or a bad thing, it really depends on how you look at it. But school started on Monday. I have four classes this semester and have to drive all the way to Sugar Land three times a week. Not really looking forward to that drive at 7:30am-8am in the morning… But I’m really excited about my video production class.

3. I’ve figured out a lot about my newest blog series. I think it’ll be a month or two long and it’s called ‘Advice with B’ or a variation of that. I felt inspired by Louise Pentland’s book ‘Life With a Sprinkle of Glitter’. I’m really excited about starting it and sharing things I’ve learned.

4. My friend, Alexis, and I have figured out a lot about our podcast and will be recording a ton of episodes on Labor Day weekend. It’s called ‘Getting from A to B’ and we are in love with the name. 

5. I’m going to cheat and say my trips this summer. I went on a road trip from Texas to Maine with my two best friends, Morgan and Haley. We met up with our other bff, Alexis, in Maine. We had so much fun and it was honestly a trip to remember. My next trip was going to London for a month. There I met three of my internet friends, which was so exciting. They all live in different places (Holland, Germany, and Malaysia) and it was so good to meet and talk with them in person. 🙂
